PSALM 125:1
1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
PSALM 30:6-7
6 Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, “I will never be moved.”
7 O LORD, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
PSALM 34:7
7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.
PSALM 139:5
5 You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.
ZECHARIAH 2:3-5
3 And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him,
4 and said to him, “Run, speak to that young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the multitude of men and cattle within it.
5 ‘For I,’ declares the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ”
PSALM 34:17-19
17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
PSALM 126
1 A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream.
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 The LORD has done great things for us; We are glad.
4 Restore our captivity, O LORD, As the streams in the South.
5 Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
6 He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
LUKE 8:11-15
11 “Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.
12 “Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.
13 “Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.
14 “The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15 “But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance

THE LORD IS ON OUR SIDE
PSALM 124
1 A Song of Ascents, of David. “Had it not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say,
2 “Had it not been the LORD who was on our side When men rose up against us,
3 Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their anger was kindled against us;
4 Then the waters would have engulfed us, The stream would have swept over our soul;
5 Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul.”
6 Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us to be torn by their teeth.
7 Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; The snare is broken and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
JOSHUA 23:10
10 “One of your men puts to flight a thousand, for the LORD your God is He who fights for you, just as He promised you.
JOHN 13:7
7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter.”
ROMANS 8:28-39
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? of God, who also intercedes for us.
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
33 Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;
34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 Just as it is written, “FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.”
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

OUR EYES LOOK TO THE LORD
PSALM 122
1 A Song of Ascents, of David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
2 Our feet are standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem,
3 Jerusalem, that is built As a city that is compact together;
4 To which the tribes go up, even the tribes of the LORD— An ordinance for Israel— To give thanks to the name of the LORD.
5 For there thrones were set for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
7 “May peace be within your walls, And prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, “May peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.
ACTS 3:1-7
1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.
2 And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple.
3 When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms.
4 But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!”
5 And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!”
7 And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.
PSALMS 123:1
1 A Song of Ascents. To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!
PSALMS 22:3-4
3 Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel.
4 In You our fathers trusted; They trusted and You delivered them.
PSALM 29:10
10 The LORD sat as King at the flood; Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
PSALM 99:1
1 The LORD reigns, let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth shake!
PSALM 113:4-6
4 The LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.
5 Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high,
6 Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
